An ink-full life........
The room is a mess. My cupboard is a mess. My art table as always is a mess. And my head, well you know. It's always messy in there.
I have now reached a point in my life where no amount of tea can give me peace. Because while having tea I am still fretting over how much I have to get done. The house, social nonsensical meetings, food are just one side. On the other I have my art. That has taken over a good 70% of my life. And that is the biggest gift given to me by God.
The year 2017 has started with a bang. I conducted my first ever Ink Art workshop in January which went amazingly well. The response I got made up for all my anxiety, stress, mood swings and acne breakouts. Yep, I get a zit each time I stress. Right now also I have one. Why? Since I am working on a very exciting project and it's making me crazy happy yet anxious at the same time.
Anyway, post the workshop success I have been called to conduct more such workshops. So I will be doing that February end and will also be doing another one in March. So Ink Tales is currently doing awesome and I hope it continues to soar higher.
Another great news is I got published in the Mid Day newspaper! To see my face and work in the newspaper has always been a dream. And I am glad I could check it off my bucket list.
My workshop was a full house event and I am hoping my other two planned ones are also this full. Here are some pictures from the workshop. My students have done a wonderful job. It a happy moment for me to see so much interest in doodle art.
Students inking away
I gave a live demo which was projected on screen for everyone to see.
Commissions went really well. Wrapped up everything, now just have one project to go before I fly off this week!
I have more to showcase which I will next time. I have also done some inky dotted mandalas..so here they are, hope you like them.
Took a lot of ink, time and patience.
I also have this "Little arts" series going on but will dedicate one whole new post for them.
That's all for now. Will post more before I head for my trip.
